LyoPrime Luna® L4001S Vial Format Overview

The LyoPrime Luna Probe One-Step RT-qPCR Mix with UDG is a lyophilized one step RT-qPCR mix analogous to our liquid format RT-qPCR 4X Mix(es), which allows sensitive detection of RNA targets, with robust performance and features. It is shipped and stored at room temperature, with a shelf life of 2 years, and is ready to use literally off the shelf.

During lyophilization, lyo-compatible components are combined with stabilizing excipients and then freeze-dried via a controlled process. As water is driven off, the excipients promote formation of a stable, dry, structured matrix called the cake. 

The mix is stoppered and capped in an impermeable vial that protects the product from moisture.
