Health and Dental Benefits Employee health and wellness is our priority. As such, we provide employees with Blue Cross Blue Shield’s PPO and Delta Dental’s Premier Plan at a nominal cost to the employee. In addition to these benefits, NEB also administers a Flexible Spending Plan that allows employees to set aside pre-tax money for designated childcare and medical expenses. |

Disability and Life Insurance The security of knowing that you and your family are protected during difficult times is important. Paid Parental Leave Paid Parental Leave is offered for the birth or adoption of a child. Birth parents receive up to twelve weeks of leave paid at 100% to recover from childbirth. Additionally, all parents receive four weeks of leave paid at 100% to bond with their newborn child. |

Long-Term Care NEB provides employees with a base long-term care insurance benefit, and the ability to purchase additional coverage for themselves and family members. |

The Hiring Process
Q: I applied for an available position – what happens next?
A: When you apply on-line for a specific position, you will receive an acknowledgment via email, and your information immediately becomes available to our Human Resources Department.. Qualified candidates are contacted by Human Resources and invited to interview.
Q: If I am invited for an interview, what can I expect?
A: New England Biolabs adheres to a collaborative and deliberate interview process. All available positions have an interview team that consists of at least 5 members. This team will assess your technical and scientific achievements as well as those unique benefits you would bring to the position.Candidates applying for Research and Development Scientist positions are expected to present a seminar while other candidates may be asked to provide samples of their work. We often conduct two rounds of interviews for each position. After each round, the interview team meets to discuss candidates and assess qualifications.
