LyoPrime Luna® L4001S Vial Format Rehydration

This video describes the rehydration process for LyoPrime Luna™ Probe One-Step RT-qPCR Mix with UDG, a lyophilized reagent analogous to our liquid format RT-qPCR 4X mix for sensitive detection of RNA targets.

Script

The LyoPrime Luna Probe One-Step RT-qPCR Mix with UDG is a lyophilized one step RT-qPCR mix analogous to our liquid format RT-qPCR 4X Mixes, which allow sensitive detection of RNA targets, with robust performance and features.

When ready to set up your experiment, reconstitute the lyophilized RT-qPCR mix by simply removing the cap and stopper, and add (nuclease-free) water to the vial to rehydrate the mix. The cake will dissolve almost instantaneously, and can be reconstituted at 2X, or 4X if desired to permit higher sample volumes.

Air that was trapped in the cake will degas naturally or with brief vortexing.
Mix briefly, the reconstituted mix is now ready to use with primers and probes for your assay of interest.

When you’re finished using the mix, any unused mix can be stored for later use at 4°C for up to 3 weeks, or at -20°C for up to 3 months.
