NEB Kid's Science Day

Join us for a day of fun-filled activities and presentations hosted by NEB scientists and staff. The event is open to children in grades K-5.

FAQs

  • Can I bring my younger/older children?

    No. Only registered students in grades K-5 can attend.

  • Can students come by themselves?

    All registered students must be accompanied by an adult.

  • What time should I arrive?

    The event starts at 10am.  In order to participate in all the various experiments, please arrive at the indicated start time.

  • What should I wear?

    Please wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing.

  • Where should I park?

    Please park outside NEB’s main entrance which is directly across from the pond. Click here for directions to NEB.

  • Will food and/or drink be provided?

    No food will be provided.  Attendees can drink water – please consider bringing a refillable water bottle to use.  We will ask you to drink outside the experimental area.

  • What if I signed up and can no longer attend?

    Please let us know by emailing KidsScienceDay@neb.com. Your spot will be given to someone on the waitlist.

  • I’m on the waitlist. How will I know if I am able to attend the event?

    We will email you in order of registration if space opens up. If you do not hear from us, that means you are still on the waitlist.

  • Does NEB provide transportation to the event?

    Unfortunately, we do not provide transportation to the event. Please arrange your own transportation.
