Yes, RCA products generated using the phi29-XT DNA Polymerase Kit (NEB #E1603) can be used to generate dbDNA™. However, the EnClose™ Cell-free dbDNA™ Synthesis Kit (NEB #E9301) contains optimized enzymes and reaction conditions for the entire workflow. For best performance, we recommend using the RCA components provided in the EnClose™ kit rather than the phi29-XT Polymerase RCA Kit.
