A lot of customers ask me “When is the right time to elute my SPRI beads?”

The right time to elute your beads is when they are still dark and glossy looking because when they start turning lighter brown and crack, the DNA has dried onto the beads and it’s very difficult to elute off. The time it takes for the beads to dry depends on the humidity, temperature and altitude in your lab.
