FAQ: What is the difference between Recombinant Albumin, Molecular Biology Grade and Recombinant Albumin (NEB #B9200), Molecular Biology Grade (Glycerol-free) (NEB #B9211)?

Both Recombinant Albumin, Molecular Biology Grade (NEB #B9200) and Recombinant Albumin, Molecular Biology Grade (Glycerol-free) (NEB #B9211) are non-bovine derived albumins that can serve as alternatives to BSA. #B9211 is a glycerol-free version that can be used when reduced glycerol is required, including in lyophilization and automation workflows. It is supplied in a different storage buffer from #B9200.
