FAQ: Is the Monarch® Mag PCR & DNA Cleanup Kit (5 μg) (NEB #T4130) compatible with RNA samples?
While RNA may be recovered using the Monarch® Mag PCR & DNA Cleanup Kit (5 μg) (NEB #T4130), the buffers and protocols are not designed for RNase-free conditions or reliable RNA purification. Therefore, we do not recommend using this kit for RNA cleanup.
