FAQ: How does the level of star activity of AgeI-HF compare to AgeI?
The Fidelity Index which measures the minimum units to produce star activity was determined using the following conditions; 1X NEBuffer, 5% glycerol, pXba DNA (1µg/50 µl), incubated for 1 hour at 37˚C . The minimum number of units of AgeI-HF required to produce star activity in the recommended NEBuffer 4 is (≥250 units). The minimum number of units of AgeI required to produce star activity in the recommended NEBuffer 1 is (≥32 units). The minimum number of units of AgeI required to produce star activity in NEBuffer 4 is (≥32 units).
