Although this ribosome preparation is highly active in NEB’s PURExpress Protein Synthesis Kit (NEB #E6800) it is intended as a source of ribosomes only. We supply enough ribosome for approximately 6 E3313S standard PURExpress reactions. For cases where in vitro transcription and translation will be performed exclusively using PURExpress components, the E6800 kit is more cost effective and easier to use. Please refer to the E3313S and E6800S manuals for a complete description of the kit and related product information.
