Quick Tips - How do I avoid adapter dimer?

A lot of our customers would like to know how they can avoid adapter dimer.

First, make sure that the amount of adaptor you are using is appropriate for your DNA and RNA input, and you can find that information in the kit manual. Then, make sure that you don’t add the adaptor to the ligation master mix. Instead, you can add the adaptor last after you have added everything else to your tube, or you can premix the adaptor with the DNA sample.
