A Typical Deadenylation Reaction (M0331)
Combine the following components in sterile microfuge tube:

| 5–50 pmol 5´-adenylated DNA or RNA | variable |
| H2O | variable |
| 5´ Deadenylase (50 units/μl) | 1 μl |
| Total reaction | 20 μl |
Incubate at 30°C for 0.5–1 hour
