FAQ: Will DNase I-XT degrade more than 1 µg of DNA in an IVT reaction?
While most IVT reactions call for 1 µg of DNA template as input, it is sometimes more convenient and/or efficient to add more DNA template to an IVT reaction. DNase I-XT will efficiently remove up to 5 µg of DNA template from a 20 µl IVT reaction.
