FAQ: Can I set up the SARS-CoV-2 assay at room temperature?
The Luna Probe One-Step RT-qPCR 4X Mix with UDG (NEB #M3019) provided in the kit contains Luna WarmStart® RT paired with Hot Start Taq, enabling room temperature setup. For best results, the reagents from the kit should be kept on ice during the reaction setup and stored at -20°C.
