Yes, the kit can be used for with a vacuum manifold for the binding and first wash step of Part 2: Genomic DNA Binding and Elution. The second wash step and the elution should be carried out in a centrifuge. Purity of vacuum-purified samples may be reduced, as protein and other cell components can remain on the membrane; high speed centrifugation is recommended for maximum purity and reproducibility.
