FAQ: Does the DNA need to be purified after treatment with Quick CIP?
No, as long as Quick CIP is heat inactivated at 80°C for 2 minutes prior to ligation. However, if the dephosphorylation reaction is performed directly after vector DNA digestion, both the restriction enzyme and Quick CIP should be heat-inactivated. In this case, please follow manufacturer's recommendations to inactivate restriction enzyme.
