FAQ: Is there a difference between PNGase F (P0704/P0705) and PNGase F, Recombinant (P0708/P0709)?
PNGase F (P0704/P0705) is purified from Elizabethkingia miricola (formerly Flavobacterium meningosepticum). Whereas, PNGase F, Recombinant (P0708/P0709) is cloned from Elizabethkingia miricola and expressed in E.coli. We have detected no differences between the native and recombinant versions of PNGase F. The two versions of the enzyme have identical activity, specificity and concentration.
