FAQ: Are adaptors or primers included in the NEBNext® products?

For Illumina® DNA and RNA library prep, adaptors and primers are not included in the NEBNext kits, but are available separately as NEBNext Multiplex Oligos products, in sets of 12 or 96 single indices or dual indices. NEBNext Singleplex Oligos are also available for use with your own index primers.

For Illumina Small RNA library prep, adaptors and primers are included in the NEBNext kits.

For Ion Torrent™ library prep, adaptors and singleplex primers are included but multiplex primers must be sourced elsewhere.
