FAQ: Can I incubate a Blunt/TA Ligase Master Mix ligation reaction for longer than 15 minutes?
Yes. However, our testing revealed that longer incubation times do not produce more transformants. Please note that we do not recommend overnight incubations because transformations of ligations incubated overnight result in a dramatic decrease in the number of transformants.
This video explains when it's necessary to use a long incubation time for your ligation reaction.
