FAQ: Once a GLuc-expressing vector is transiently transfected into mammalian cells, how long will the GLuc expression last?
The GLuc expression continues as long as the GLuc-expressing vector is present in live cells. However, the faster the cells proliferate/grow, the sooner the GLuc vector will get diluted and disappear.
