FAQ: What DNA or RNA preparation method is required?
LAMP is typically a robust and inhibitor tolerant technique and the Universal WarmStart LAMP Mix is capable of direct amplification using a variety of sample types. However, for highest specificity and sensitivity we recommend purifying the target DNA or RNA. Most routine methods of template purification are sufficient, including column or bead purification of standard lysis and extraction methods.
