Quick Tip - Adding the lysis buffer for the PCR in the NEBNEXT® RNA workflow

During the NEBNext Single Cell Low Input RNA library prep workflow, adding lysis buffer to the cDNA PCR reaction increases efficiency.

Script

During the RNA workflow in chapter 2 of the NEBNext Single Cell/ Low input RNA library prep manual. It’s important to add lysis buffer to the cDNA PCR, this increases PCR efficiency. Be sure to start thawing the lysis buffer when you are beginning the protocol. This buffer also must be well mixed prior to use. We suggest vortexing and spinning down the buffer.
