Isoelectric Points (pI) for Restriction Enzymes

The isoelectric point (pI) is the pH at which a molecule will carry no net charge. The table below contains isoelectric points for all restriction enzymes available from New England Biolabs. Because some restriction enzymes have two subunits, two isoelectric points are listed.

The pI’s listed in these tables were calculated by computer analysis of published sequences and not experimentally determined.
