  • Transfection of plasmid DNA into mammalian cell lines including primary endothelial cells is facilitated by a number of reagents either through the formulation of cation lipid-vesicles or non-lipid cationic polymer. Complex co-transfections of plasmids can be effectively transfected using TransPass D1, D2 and Cos/HEK293 transfection reagents.

    The TransPass™ HUVEC Transfection Reagent is designed specifically for transfecting endothelial cells including HUVEC, HMVEC, human aortic endothelial cells, etc. with optimal transfection efficiency.

    TransPass V is an Adenovirus-derived enhancer component that is used along with a transfection reagent. The combination of a TransPass transfection reagent & TransPass-V significantly enhances transfection efficiency in many cell lines and primary cells including endothelial or epithelial, without introducing cell toxicity (1,2).
