RNase Control

There many applications in which it is important to maintain the integrity of RNA. NEB offers three separate RNase inhibitors; Ribonucleoside Vanadyl Complex (NEB #S1402) can be used in cell fractionation methods, as well as in sucrose-gradient centrifugation to inhibit various ribonucleases; while RNase Inhibitor, Human Placenta (NEB #M0307) or RNase Inhibitor, Murine (NEB #M0314) can be used for inhibition of RNases A, B and C. The advantage of RNase Inhibitor, Murine, is that it lacks a pair of easily-oxidized cysteines that are present in the human form, thereby making it more stable.

Reagents for RNA Sample Preparation

RNA Polymerase Selection Chart
