Library Preparation for Ion Torrent

The standard library preparation workflow for Ion Torrent DNA sequencing includes end repair of the 3′ and 5′ ends, adaptor ligation, size-selection of adaptor-ligated molecules, and PCR amplification. Libraries prepared in this manner are suitable for template preparation, the next step in the Ion Torrent sequencing workflow.

NEBNext® reagents are available for Ion Torrent DNA library preparation, with or without enzyme-based fragmentation. Each of these reagents has been functionally validated by preparation of a genomic DNA library followed by Ion Torrent sequencing.
