    NEB offers a variety of modules for use in the library preparation of DNA for the leading next generation sequencing platforms. Modules are provided as master mixes when possible, to maximize efficiency and convenience in DNA sample preparation workflows.

    The NEBNext® End Repair Module

    The NEBNext End Repair Module (NEB #E6050) is optimized to repair DNA fragmented by nebulization, acoustic shearing or nucleases. Fragmented DNA is converted to blunt-ended DNA having 5´-phosphates and 3´-hydroxyl termini suitable for blunt-end cloning or adaptor ligation. 3´ dA-tails can subsequently be added to the repaired DNA with the NEBNext dA-tailing Module.

    The NEBNext® dA-Tailing Module

    The NEBNext dA-Tailing Module (NEB #E6053) is optimized to efficiently incorporate a non-templated dAMP on the 3´ end of a blunt DNA fragment (1). 3´-dA DNA tailing prevents concatamer formation during subsequent ligation steps. DNA tailed with the NEBNext dA-Tailing module may be ligated to adaptors or cloning vectors with complementary dT overhangs.

    The NEBNext® Quick Ligation Module

    The NEBNext Quick Ligation Module (NEB #E6056) is optimized to efficiently ligate DNA adaptors to blunt or dA-Tailed DNA fragments.

    The NEBNext® Fill-in and ssDNA Isolation Module

    The NEBNext Fill-in and ssDNA Isolation Module (NEB #E6071) is optimized to fill in adaptor sequence from a nick generated by ligation of adaptors lacking a 5´-phosphate to a DNA template coupled with ssDNA isolation.

    The NEBNext® Singleplex Oligos for Illumina®

    The NEBNext Singleplex Oligos for Illumina® (NEB #E7350) contains adaptors and primers that are ideally suited for library preparation for next generation sequencing on the Illumina platform.

    The NEBNext® Multiplex Oligos for Illumina (Index Primers)

    The NEBNext Multiplex Oligos for Illumina (Index Primers) (NEB #E7335) contains adaptors and barcode primers that are ideally suited for multiplex library preparation for next generation sequencing on the Illumina platform.

    The NEBNext® Multiplex Oligos for Illumina (Index Primers Set 2)

    The NEBNext Multiplex Oligos for Illumina (Index Primers Set 2) (NEB #E7500) contains adaptors and barcode primers that are ideally suited for library preparation for next generation sequencing on the Illumina platform.
