FAQ: Which magnets (2 ml and 200 μl sizes) do you recommend?
Any tube or 96-well plate magnets can be used that provide sufficient separation with minimal bead loss upon removal of the supernatant. We prefer magnetic separation racks for tubes from NEB, (NEB #S1515S, NEB #S1506S or NEB #S1509S) and 96-well magnetic separation plates from Alpaqua,(cat no A001322).
