It has been reported that NudC decapping activity is blocked by 2′O methylation of the +1 nt in case of NAD+, i.e., nicotinamide diphosphate 2′O-Me-adenosine (1). On the other hand, NEB has found that cap 1 RNA (m7G-capped RNA with 2'O methylation at +1 A or G) is not significantly decapped by NudC.
