FAQ: How long can the synthesized cDNA be stored for prior to amplification?
The cDNA can be stored overnight at 4˚C or -20˚C. For longer storage, add 0.5 µl of 10X NEBNext Cell Lysis Buffer to the cDNA (instead of during the PCR step), and the samples can then be stored at -20˚C for up to 7 days.
