FAQ: Which magnets (2 ml and 200 µl sizes) do you recommend?
Any tube or 96-well plate magnets can be used that provide sufficient separation with minimal bead loss upon removal of the supernatant. We prefer magnetic separation racks for tubes from NEB, cat no: S1506S or S1509S and 96-well magnetic separation plates from Alpaqua, cat no A001322.
