FAQ: How can I separate a deglycosylated protein from the glycosidase?

Any specific affinity method that will selectively capture the protein of interest (i.e. protein G for immunoglobulins) will be appropriate. Size exclusion is not recommended, unless the size of the protein is very different from the glycosidase. Finally, some of the NEB glycosidases (Remove-iT™ PNGase F, Endo S, Endo D) have an affinity tag, to allow removal of the enzyme from the reaction mixture by capturing the tagged glycosidase with chitin beads.
