FAQ: Can Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase be used in other buffers?
For routine PCR, this enzyme is functional in all of NEB’s Taq reaction buffers (ThermoPol®, Standard Taq Reaction Buffer, Standard Taq (Mg-free) Buffer). However, for most DNA templates, the Standard Taq Reaction Buffer, which is provided with the enzyme, is recommended.
