FAQ: Can RNase R (NEB #M0100) be heat-inactivated?
Yes, RNase R can be heat-inactivated at 60°C for 10 minutes. However, we recommend inactivating RNase R by adding EDTA (10 mM final concentration) to prevent unwanted RNA hydrolysis.
