FAQ: I have a tube of the Q5® High GC Enhancer from another product formulation – can I add it to the Q5 Blood Direct 2X Master Mix?
Q5 Blood Direct 2X Master Mix can generally amplify products up to 75% GC rich. We do not recommend adding the Enhancer to the Master Mix. Addition of the Enhancer is more likely to reduce performance of the mix than improve it.
