FAQ: Can EpiMark® Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase be used in any other reaction buffers?

For routine PCR, this enzyme is functional in all of NEB’s Taq reaction buffers (ThermoPol Reaction Buffer, Standard Taq Reaction Buffer, Crimson Taq Reaction Buffer). However, for optimal amplification from bisulfite-converted DNA, the EpiMark Hot Start Taq Reaction Buffer, which is provided with the enzyme, is recommended.
