FAQ: What is the recommended enzyme amount when using LongAmp™ Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase?
In general, we recommend 5 units of LongAmp Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase in a 50 µl reaction. For amplicons < 8 kb, we recommend 1-2.5 units per 50 µl reaction for higher fidelity.
