Download: MSDS PDF Description: Autocamtide-2 is a highly selective synthetic peptide substrate for Ca2+/Calmodulin-Dependent Protein Kinase II (CaMKII) derived from the autophosphorylation site of the a subunit of CaMKII (1). The presence of basic arginine and lysine residues makes it suitable for kinase assays using the phosphocellulose paper binding method (2,3). CaMKII phosphorylates Autocamtide-2 with Km of 2 µM.
