  • Ampicillin resistance for propagation in E. coli.
  • Neomycin resistance for selection in mamalian cells.
  • Can be linearized using one of the unique restriction enzyme sites shown on map.
Description:
pNEBR-R1 is designed to control gene expression in mammalian cells as part of the RheoSwitch® Inducible Gene Expression System (NEB #E3000). The plasmid expresses an engineered nuclear receptor heterodimer consisting of two proteins, RheoReceptor-1 and RheoActivator. The two proteins constitute the holoreceptor and regulate transcription of genes cloned into the expression vector, pNEBR-X1 (NEB #N8078). The two proteins are expressed from the constitutive ubiquitin UbC and UbB promoters, respectively. The plasmid also contains the neomycin resistance gene under control of the SV40 early promoter for the generation of stable cell lines.

Source:
pNEBR-R1 is isolated from E. coli strain ER2272 by a standard plasmid purification procedure.

Concentration:
500 μg/ml
