Description: The siRNA Marker is a set of three annealed synthetic siRNA duplexes that are 17, 21 and 25 base pairs in length with 2-base 3´ overhangs. This marker is suitable for use as a siRNA size standard on native polyacrylamide gels (Figure 1).
Recommended Loading Amount: 5-10 µl per lane
Molecular Weight: The average molecular weight of the 21 siRNA duplex is ~ 13.300 g/mol.

Figure 1: 45 ng (5 µl) of siRNA Marker on a 20% TBE polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.

Figure 2: Three synthetic annealed siRNA duplexes.

 Concentration: 9 ng/μl
Storage Conditions

Storage Conditions: 1 mM EDTA 5% Glycerol 0.008% Orange G
Storage Temperature: -20°C
Notes

Usage notes:- The duplexes share some sequence similarities (Figure 2). Therefore, incomplete denaturation/reannealing will result different size species. For denaturing gels, we recommend the microRNA Marker (NEB #N2102) be used.
