Description:
New England Biolabs supplies a 10X reaction buffer with all of its enzymes. At a 1X concentration this reaction buffer assures optimal activity of the enzyme.

Quality Control for Current Lot
Quality control values for a specific lot can be found on the datacard which accompanies each product.
RNase Activity:
Incubation of DNase I at 1X concentration with 100 units of DNase I and 10 μg of double-stranded RNA Ladder for 2 hours at 37°C resulted in the same electrophoretic profile as untreated RNA.
Incubation of DNase I at 1X concentration with 2 units of DNase I and 10 μg of single-stranded RNA Ladder for 1 hour at 37°C resulted in the same electrophoretic profile as untreated RNA.
