Q2: Is activity loss of BbsI seen in 12 months or less?
Q3: Does salt inhibit BbsI cleavage?
Q4: What is the activity of BbsI at 25°C?

Q1: Are storage conditions for BbsI other than -20°C recommended?

A1: Yes, -70°C for periods longer than 30 days, otherwise store at -20°C.

Q2: Is activity loss of BbsI seen in 12 months or less?

A2: Yes, loss can be seen after 12 moths storage at -20°C.

Q3: Does salt inhibit BbsI cleavage?

A3: Mini-prep DNA containing residual salt is resistant to BbsI cleavage. A 70% ethanol wash or dialysis should be performed to remove the salt.

Q4: What is the activity of BbsI at 25°C?

A4: BbsI is 0-25% active at 25°C.
