A1: EagI-cut DNA can be ligated to DNA cut with NotI or EaeI.


Q2: IsEagI pH sensitive?

A2: EagI is less active when used at lower then recommended pH.


Q3: Are more units of EagI required to cut supercoiled DNA than lambda DNA?

A3: Yes, 10 units are required to cleave 1 ug of litmus or pBR322 DNA.
